SOMFY
WYPS were commissioned in October 2017 to complete the refurbishment of a commercial office unit at Leeds Bradford airport, consisting of the remodelling of the existing open space to create meeting rooms, private offices, work areas, desk space and communal facilities.
The Brief
The office space was being utilised by the existing client as a working office which was in need of significant redevelopment to create a more effective working environment. Continued use of the space was required throughout the development which was to include significant structural alterations as well as cosmetic refurbishment.
The Solution
The full scope of refurbishment included, effective partitioning of the approximately 400M2 open plan space to create effective working areas of both desk space and communal soft meeting areas. It also included the creation of private meeting rooms, management offices, and communal facilities including toilets and kitchens. The complete renovation of the internals consisted of everything from the installation of glass partitions and suspended ceilings to the completed redecoration of the building. The office was finished to a high specification with the installation of new toilet and kitchen facilities provide a complete working environment conducive to the growth ambitions of the client.
